Leroy has been known by the name “Leroy Brown” since childhood, stemming from the Jim Crowe song “Bad Bad Leroy Brown.” Despite his innocent appearance, Leroy was a young rebel who was mischievous, making the name “Leroy Brown” a fitting irony. The name stuck with him as he began his rap career, and he has since become a legendary artist in his own right.
